Dr. Alberto Rengifo, MD

Dr. Alberto Rengifo has been a medical doctor since 1985 and has been a specialist in family medicine since 2006. Being a board certified family physician and board certified in integrative holistic medicine, Dr. Rengifo has been the owner of Family Medicine of Weston since 2006, and the founder of Alliance Direct Primary Care since 2018. With more than 15 years of practice in Broward County specializing in primary care and functional medicine, Dr. Rengifo expanded his business to the Las Olas district to offer one of his most popular and effective treatments including IV therapy and functional medicine services.

Dr. Rengifo has received recognition as top Family Practitioner and the recipient of Patient Choice Awards for many years in a row. He offers expert medical knowledge, dedication to quality and care, and holds lots of experience in charge of IV formulations versus franchises with no medical support.

Our staff is here to offer excellent teamwork, customer service, adaptability, and bilingual services to ensure all patients get the proper care and treatment they need.

Claudia Rengifo, MHSA

A native of Colombia, Claudia graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with a degree in Bacteriology and Clinical Laboratory Sciences.

Always passionate of Health Care, once she moved to the United States, she continue her education and graduated from Barry University with a master’s degree in Health Care Administration. She and her husband Dr. Alberto Rengifo founded in 2007 Family Medicine of Weston, where she has played a vital role in daily practice administration:  Development, Human Resources, marketing, billing & accounting. In 2018 she was instrumental in the transformation of the care model to Alliance Direct Primary Care.

With the expansion to East Fort Lauderdale and the opening of their sister company Alliance IV Therapy MD, Claudia divides her time between the Weston and Las Olas locations, overseeing the business operations.  She is grateful for the opportunity to grow in her role while maintaining a relationship with patients, providers, staff, and the community.  In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family, and her dog, volunteers for the dogs at the Humane Society of Broward County
